BRAVE NEW WORK aims to activate elderly persons (50 years and older) that are currently either inactive or in unemployment by giving them positive work experiences in other European countries. To this aim, senior citizens will be addressed and encouraged to move and work temporarily abroad. Work or internship places open for foreign senior citizens will be researched and a Mobility Program created. While on one hand the experience from working in another EU country could be the necessary reference for re-entering the labour market, skill shortages could be decreased through an increased mobility of elderly experienced workers.
